• The COGS poster session is scheduled on March 12, 2026 from 8:00 am – 6:30pm with formal poster viewing and judging between 9:30 am – 11:00 am. The Balancing the Brain poster session is scheduled on March 13, 2026.

• You will be expected to attend your poster during the poster viewing and judging period

• Your should have received your unique poster number, if not, please email cogs@podiumconferences.com

• You will be provided with a poster board surface measuring 45" × 45" (114 cm × 114 cm) to display your poster. Posters cannot exceed this size.

• Each side of a poster board will have 2 posters placed side by side.

• Push pins will be provided for you to affix your poster to the display board.

• You may hand out information sheets to those viewing your poster.

• Poster material must be prepared in advance and should be large enough to be viewed from a distance of approximately 3′ (1 m) or more.

• Each poster must have a top label indicating the title of the paper, the names of the authors and their affiliations.

• Keep illustrative material simple. Charts, drawings and illustrations may be similar to those used in making slides – preferably with bolder, heavier figures.

• If used, photographs should be in a matte finish, not glossy.

Option A — Any poster size that is less than or equal to 45" × 45" will be accepted for display. Please note that a poster that is 45" × 45" may require custom design and printing.

Option B — If you choose to design and print a ‘standard’ poster equal to 36" × 48", please ensure to leave a 3" white margin so the excess can be folded to fit the 45" × 45" board. How to do this using Microsoft PowerPoint:

1. Set the Poster Size

• Open your PowerPoint file.

• Go to Design → Slide Size → Custom Slide Size.

• Set: Width: 48 inches & Height: 36 inches

• Click OK → choose Ensure Fit.

2. Sizing (choose one option)

• Add a 3" Margin on one side:

• Insert a rectangle as a visual guide (optional).

• Set rectangle size to: Width: 45 inches x Height: 36 inches

• Align this rectangle so that 3 inches of the slide remain on one side, which will become the fold area.

• Everything outside the 45" width is the foldable margin.

  OR

• Split the margin (1.5" on each side) if you prefer symmetry:

• Draw a rectangle that is: Width: 45 inches x Height: 36 inches

• Center it on the slide.

• This leaves 1.5" margin on both left and right edges.

• Please bring your poster to the second floor of the Omni King Edward Hotel for setup, at either time below:

  March 11, 4:30pm – 6:30pm

  March 12, 7am – 8am

• Do not fold posters; roll and carry them in an appropriate container.

• Do not mail poster presentations in advance; bring them with you to the Meeting.

• Meeting staff will be present to assist you during the poster set up times.

• COGS Poster removal is scheduled at 6:30pm on March 12. Poster removal for Balancing the Brain Poster is scheduled at 5:30pm on March 13.

• Removal and collection of posters at the end of the display period remains the responsibility of the presenter. Posters not removed by the indicated take down time will be removed and disposed of by meeting staff.
